From Asheville 
(approx 1.5 hours)
• Take I-40 West toward Knoxville, TN.
• Take exit 27 onto US 74 West.
• Continue on US 74 (Great Smoky Mountain Expressway) for approximately 60 miles. You’ll pass exits for Waynesville, Sylva, Dillsboro, Cherokee and Bryson City.
• Eight miles past Bryson City, the 4-lane will split into two 2-lane roads. Stay left on US 74 / 19 which will take you into the Nantahala Gorge.
• After passing the NOC at Wesser stay on 74 for about 9 more miles.
• Appalachian Rivers Outpost of Carolina Outfitters, Inc. is located on the left just beyond Rowlands Creek Baptist Church.
• Look for us directly across the highway from a closed gas station.

From East Atlanta (approx 3.5 hours)
• Take I-85 North to I-985 North
• At Gainesville, GA take 365 North to 441 North.
• Just past Dillsboro, NC, US 441 merges with US 74 (Bear left – West)
• Take 74 West past all Bryson City exits.
• Eight miles past Bryson City, the 4-lane will split into two 2-lane roads. Stay left on US 74 / 19 which will take you into the Nantahala Gorge.
• After passing the NOC at Wesser stay on 74 for about 9 more miles.
• Appalachian Rivers Outpost of Carolina Outfitters, Inc. is located on the left just beyond Rowlands Creek Baptist Church.

From West Atlanta  (approx 2.5 hours)
• Take I-75 north to I-575 north, which becomes Georgia route 515 and then US 76.
• Just past Blue Ridge, GA, turn left (west) on to Route 60
• Travel 1.5 miles to Mineral Bluff, GA.
• Turn right on to Route "60 Spur"
• Travel approximately 13 miles to the junction with US 19/74.
• Turn right (east) and proceed on US 19 / 74 through Murphy, NC and Andrews, NC.
• Just past the Topton community, as you descend into the Nantahala Gorge, you’ll find Appalachian Rivers Outpost of Carolina Outfitters, Inc. on your right directly across the highway from a closed gas station.

From Chattanooga (approx 2.5 hours)
• Take I-75 north to US 64 Bypass (Exit 20, near Cleveland, TN).
• Drive 6 miles to the Ocoee Exit onto US 64 (which becomes US 64 / 74)
• Continue on US 64 / 74 through Ducktown, TN and the Ocoee River Gorge into North Carolina.
• At Murphy, NC take US 19 / 74 east through Andrews, NC
• Just past the Topton community, as you descend into the Nantahala Gorge, you’ll find Appalachian Rivers Outpost of Carolina Outfitters, Inc. on your right directly across the highway from a closed gas station.
